You asked me to come to the park at 3:30 am
I thought you were always too nervous to meet me during the day
I never told you
But you’ve always been my everything
Now you want me to go on a walk with you

Without you, this has always felt so empty and blue
We were nothing more than a fairytale
Who knew this one was meant to come true?

We were nothing than
A thought crossing our minds
Nothing more than an unlikely event, we were ready to fight for

I had to insist we would come through
I could see in your face, you were hesitant to believe we could be a part of these few-
Yet

I look at your face
I remember what it was I was trying so hard to forget
Still you love me with all my regrets

I know I’ve been bad
I know I’ve made my bed

But you know how to put me back in my place

So, we walk through this park, on the day I fall in love with you
You don’t let me in, yet you let me know
You’ll catch me whenever I fall
And I’ll never have to wait until
Everything has already fallen apart
You’ll catch me right at the spot

Never been the one to talk about my pain
Never been the one to let anyone in
About my failures
My misdemeanors
My treasons

But you broke down all these walls
To catch me whenever I fall

We were never meant
To meet each other
Neither, to fall for each other

Without you, this has always felt so empty and blue
We were nothing more than a fairytale
Who knew this one was meant to come true …?
